THE SEEKING PEACE AND JOY DICTIONARY — — N — —
N is for...
Nail
Nail is a noun and a verb...
Well I’d rather be a hammer. Than a nail...except in most cases if all you can be is a hammer the whole world looks like a nail. Anyway nails hod things together and also valuable things can be reliably held up by them so nails are good. In seeking peace and joy it is important to find and be nails because you will need to stay together with those having a purpose. Like yours and sometimes you will either need to hold something/ or someone up and you will need to be held up and supported as well.
Neon
Neon ...noun and a type of gas
Seeking peace and joy is a process of
of finding your glow and helping others find theirs and then making the world a brighter place. Neon doesn’t really work alone. And yet when it works with a good design and a creative artist it becomes crazy cool. So use your neon. Or find some and get together to light up your flow...
Nice
Nice...adjective
Somehow nice isn’t cool and how that happened is hard to figure out. Having said that being nice often increases the number of connections we can make and thus enhances the power of our purposes and the energy involved in our experiments for change. In short, this entry can end with a campy quote that is altogether true in the process of seeking peace and joy—-
“ It’s nice to be important, but it’s important to be nice!!”
Now
Now is a Noun
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their land. I had to type that just because. Of countless hours of typing practice. Anyway back to “now....One of the big secrets inseeeking peace and joy is the knowledge that you don’t have to seek peace for any time. Other than right now. You don’t have to have guaranteed peace forever and you don’t have to be aware of everything that will happen to or for everyone for all possible future events. Understanding now means carrying forth the lessons of the past without having these lessons dictate the future- they provide perspective and yet do not determine choices or absolutely dictate the realm of possible solutions. The now allows us to focus on the fullness of our current experiences and so we aren’t as prone to live in the if/then or in the when this happens then I can be happy world.
In short we don’t have to worry about the millions of bad things that might happen and we don’t have to look for something richer in another time because we have learned to understand the fullness of attention on what is always around us...
Well ...that’s enough of now and for now—tomorrow when it is now we will enter the. O—zone
